The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announced a brand-new initiative to promote the city’s craft beer scene. A free mobile-exclusive digital pass will allow visitors and locals to check in and redeem discounts at local participating craft brewery locations across the city. Simply called the Miami Craft Beer Pass, it launched officially on 07 April, just in time for National Beer Day in the US.
The Miami Craft Beer Pass is a free mobile-exclusive digital pass instantly delivered to a customer’s phone via text and email with no apps to download. It invites customers to check in to redeem great offers, deals and discounts and is also gamified, allowing them to earn their way to their very own limited edition Miami Craft Beer Koozie when they visit 5 or more locations along the Miami Craft Beer trail. The Craft Beer Pass will launch with key partners and intends to grow participation. Current partner breweries include:
● Beat Culture Brewery & Kitchen
● Cerveceria La Tropical
● EST.33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen
● Prision Pals Brewing Co.
● Schnebly Redland's Winery & Brewery
● South Beach Brewing Company
● The Tank Brewing Co.
● Titanic Brewery & Restaurant
● Tripping Animals Brewing Co.
● Wynwood Brewing Company
GMCVB partnered with the technology company Bandwango, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to launch this passport. Their team has successfully launched many gamified craft beverage trails with destinations in North America. The Miami Craft Beer Pass is an innovative way to further highlight the many culinary options and experiences in Miami’s diverse neighbourhoods and showcase the city’s unique flavours.
